General Schema data
Used by search engines to understand content
- fact-based
- not marketing or sales-oriented
- write in local language
Schema title: 40–60 characters Short, precise and in line with the actual content of the page
Schema description: 120–250 characters (about 1–2 sentences). Short, fact-based explanation
Schema image: Show picture of the clinic. Use an image that is actually on the page. Ideally, use high-resolution images (at least 1200 px width)
Available Services
Select one of following types; MedicalProcedure, MedicalTest or MedicalTherapy and then a treatment page that reflects the treatment.
Google understands medical content much better when the schema type is correct
MedicalProcedure = interventions or procedures performed on the body, whether surgical or non-surgical.
Typical examples: Surgical procedures (e.g. meniscectomy, hernia repair), Endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy – when the focus is treatment), Injections, Mole removal, Biopsy (even if diagnostic, it is considered a procedure)
MedicalTest = to figure something out, not to process
Used when the content is about examinations that provide a diagnosis or measure a health condition.
Typical examples: Blood test, CT, Allergy test, Colonoscopy (when the focus is diagnostics)
MedicalTherapy = treatment, not diagnosis or procedures
Typical examples: Physiotherapy, Medical treatment, Psychotherapy, Rehabilitation
Use only one per page. If a treatment page can be both a MedicalTest and a MedicalProcedure, choose the one that is most prominent in the content. If the main purpose is diagnostics, then use MedicalTest
If the main purpose is treatment and the procedure, then use MedicalProcedure
